  • St. Martin's Lutheran Church Austin, TX (map)

Frank Martin’s masterwork Mass for Double Choir is the centerpiece of this concert showcasing works for double choir. Enjoy the interplay of double choir as brought to life by the world-class singers of Conspirare. Khalil Gibran’s poem “On Friendship” begins the evening in a luminous setting by Eriks Esenvalds. The program also includes “I Would Rather Die Than Hate You,” a setting of Martin Luther King’s words, by composer Paul Ayres, William Harris’ “Faire is the Heaven” and Jonathan Dove’s The Passing of the Year.
